The visa will then be directly stamped into your passport, with validity based on your travel itinerary.

  • Bangladeshi and Maldivian nationals: Valid passport (minimum six months).

Travelers are advised to ensure all travel documents are current and valid to avoid delays at immigration.

Best time of the year

Bhutan is flooded with tourists during the spring (March – May) and autumn (September – November) season. During this time of the year the tourist can enjoy the beauty of natural flora and fauna be it while trekking or travelling vis-à-vis stunning views of the Himalayan mountains. Further, the tourists have the opportunity to watch some of the major festivals be it religious (mask dance) or other events such as archery (national game of Bhutan) matches etc etc. attracting large crowds of spectators locally as well as from all around the world.

Summer (June – August), in most parts of Bhutan is wet with light to moderate rainfall often giving trouble to trekkers and hikers. Nevertheless, in this season the tourist gets an opportunity to witness the Bhutanese farmers cultivating paddy and other organic fruits and vegetables. Furthermore, the tourist can also enjoy the warmth of the weather in between the stunning lush green hills and mountains echoing the sounds of birds, insects and swift flowing rivers.

Winter (December – February) in Bhutan is filled with fresh cold air blowing from the Himalayas and oftentimes with light to heavy snowfall depending on the altitude of the place you are at that point of the time. In the northern and central part of the country, the temperature ranges from negative five to 15 degree Celsius however, in the southern part of the country you can enjoy a dry and moderately warm temperature.
Snowfall is most common during this part of the year, offering breathtaking views of the world’s highest Himalayan Mountain ranges covered with thick snow.

Having said that, Bhutan is always amazing all around the year and it always has something great to offer no matter which season you visit. Come with ATT and you will understand the difference.
